The first mirror I made in this series, the Crystal Rose feels very special. Using multiple textures of resin, the flowers melt together, the colors remind me of a garden I’d like to have but I don’t have a green thumb, and make art instead.
Each mirror is hand-sculpted in my Athens, GA studio, shaped from resin to create luminous, jewel-like surfaces that shift with the light throughout the day.
Designed to be both functional and transformative, the mirrors ground a space as reflective surfaces while standing on their own as sculptural works of art. Every curve and bloom is formed by hand, resulting in subtle variations that make each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
